- Ceiling Paint is different than regular paint. Here's why there are three types of ceiling paint, does the room have low humidity, higher levels of humidity, or humid? Ceiling paint is heavier than latex, its greater thickness helps it hide existing stains. A fresh coat of ceiling paint helps to brighten up the space. White and off-white are the most common, why not choose a bold colour?
- Primer before paint. Customers rely on us to choose the right type of primer based on the job, i.e., drywall, wood, stain-blocking (helpful for 'smoky' rooms') and bonding. Save money and save time with primer; it's less expensive per litre than using multiple coats of quality paint.
- Wall Paints add more than colour to your room. Textured paints add character, feature it on a key wall such as the living room and it's also seen from the hallway. We need to understand your needs before such as durability, moisture, lighting, coverage, and cleanability before recommending the type of paint and finish (such as glossses, sheens, eggshell and matte) Glossy/high-gloss paints bring out cracks and imperfections (we fix and sand those areas) while flat and matte walls absorb light. Sheen looks softer, has more depth and luster than gloss which is shiny and crisp. Simple rule of thumb: choose low sheen/gloss for low traffic areas and higher sheen/gloss for high traffic areas.
- Trim Paint Using a semi-gloss or one with a pearl finish helps to resist scuffs and marks.
Customers Are Saying
We had our entire condo painted, baseboards to ceiling. Matt was great in helping us choose our paint and colours and with our design. His work was done on time and he took care of all the things we needed. When we needed some things resolved in tricky-to-paint areas he made it happen, which was very appreciated.
